There are a variety of ways to get involved with T1D Kits for Kids!

1. Make a donation by clicking

2. Contribute medical supplies to be included in the kits.

Accepted items include adhesive patches/swabs, glucose tablets, unused blood sugar monitors, AAA batteries, Band-aids, and even snacks that raise blood sugar. If you are unsure if something can be donated, please email us at T1DKitsforkids@gmail.com and ask!

3. Contact us if you are interested in receiving our kits.

If any schools, hospitals, or diabetes centers are interested in receiving donations of our hand-made kits to distribute to newly-diagnosed T1D kids, please contact us at T1DKitsforkids@gmail.com or use the “Contact Us” form below.

4. Leave some advice in the “T1D Advice” section.

Newly-diagnosed T1D kids typically feel very confused and alone, especially if they don’t know anyone who has the disease. Type 1 diabetics can leave some kind words of encouragement or useful advice based on their own experiences with T1D to help. These words of wisdom from true experts will be placed into a T1D advice book to be given to the kids when they receive their kits.
